The Nike Dunk Low “Hyperflat” Revealed In Darker Iteration

The Nike SNKRS Day celebration, at least in the Greater China region, laid the red carpet for the debut of a flashy new Dunk Low release dubbed the “Hyperflat”. Decorated with new age accents and iridescent exteriors, this Dunk drop had strong indications of a futuristic, almost virtual reality aesthetic.

Now, Nike is launching a second iteration of the Dunk Low “Hyperflat”, featuring darker, grey-scaled approach. The gridded pattern at the toe-guard captures that gun-metal hue, contrasted by the pitch black lace collar and heel — but off-set by a slightly oily finish. The Swoosh and heel-tab, which utilizes a typeface that’s both a groovy throwback and a retro-robotic touch, is covered in a lenticular gloss. A variety of other details, like the tongue pull-tabs, the phillips-head rivets, and smoke-grey translucent outsole, finish the look.

A release date has yet to be confirmed, but this second “Hyperflat” Dunk release may be a Greater China exclusive once again.

In other Dunk news, the Nike Dunk “Día de Muertos” is dropping on October 21st.
