Be True To HER School With This Upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low

Nike’s Be True to Your School collection gifted eight collegiate programs with the first team basketball shoe, the Nike Dunk High. Nearly 40 years later, the Beaverton brand is reimagining the heritage-infused collection through the eyes of its female audience.

Initially introduced through a grade school-sized Air More Uptempo, the upcoming women’s exclusive collection of footwear now taps the iconic Air Force 1 Low for a staple varsity-style color blocking. Embarking upon its entirely own color palette, the Bruce Kilgore design introduces its layered upper with a slate grey pebble grain leather base layer with contrasting dark navy overlays. While further greyscale appearances render along the nylon inner lining a set of bright white contrasts illuminate the laces and profile swoosh as a clad “Sail” sole unit brings a vintage finish to the ensemble underfoot.

Accompanied with retro hangtags and 80s-style Nike branding, the Air Force 1 Low “Be True To HER School” can be seen below in detailed imagery as we await further release details.

In other news, Lil Yachty reportedly has his own AF1 collaboration on the way.
