Amidst a consistent stream of collaborative efforts, Jordan Brand has remained committed to re-releasing iconic compositions of the past. Whether it be through the Reimagined series’ upcoming “Royal” or “Satin Bred” treatments, the Beaverton brand has implored the original colorways of MJ’s first signature silhouette for a triumphant return. According to zsneakerheadz and brandon1an, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Shadow” will become the latest classic treatment to return next Summer.

Just like its recent run featuring “University Red” and “Atmosphere Grey”, the OG namesake rings true of a near exact reissue of the silhouette’s 1985 tooling, boasting a buttery soft tumbled leather and streamlined construction. Jet-black hues dominate both the upper’s overlays and mid-foot quarter just like its original high-top counterpart while further pitch-dark color matches adhere to the tongue, laces, inner lining and tread underfoot. Illuminated through a crisp white midsole, “Shadow Grey” hues fill in the vamp, heel counter and profile swoosh in an exact replication of its KO Low composition from this past May.

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Shadow” is currently scheduled to be released on May 4th, 2024. In the meantime, enjoy an anticipated mock-up of the pair below.

In other news, a Lil Yachty x Air Force 1 collaboration may be in the works.
