Ostrich Leather Makes For A More Exotic Take On The Dunk Low

From the late-aughts to the mid-2010s, countless sneaker brands tried their hand at exotic leathers. And though their usage has died down in recent years, the trend cycle now appears to be working in the favor of these materials.

Harkening back to an entirely different era of sneaker culture, the Nike Dunk Low is helping bring ostrich back into the fold. The somewhat rough, quilled texture unique to the material lends an exotic feel to the overlays, all of which are dressed in a deep green finish. Elsewhere, the shoe is much more standard in terms of construction and design, consisting almost entirely of white leathers.

Rounded out with gilded branding and a gum bottom, this upcoming Nike Dunk Low should be available at Nike.com and select retailers soon. In the meantime, enjoy an official look at the pair ahead.

In other news, the Cactus Plant Flea Market Nike Flea 2 is dropping very soon.
