Shaquille O’Neal Celebrates His Reebok Presidency With A Return Of The Shaq Attaq “MVP”

Shaquille O’Neal is singlehandedly the most dominant player to ever step foot onto the NBA hardwood. Amassing three-straight Finals MVPs from 2000-2002, Reebok’s recently named President of Basketball has announced the first release of his retro offerings since helming the brand’s on-court division.

Taking on the inaugural debut of his signature series – the Shaq Attaq, the Boston-based brand looks to celebrate the historic achievements of O’Neal’s MVP seasons by featuring a bespoke monochrome palette infused with hits of Laker’s hues. Amplifying the full-grain leather upper, a dichotomy between white and black ensues throughout the various overlays and perforated sections. While jet-black contrasts provide further clarity to the classic Pump technology at the tongue, a royal infusion of purple animates the trim of the profile logos while a golden metallic finish is applied to the quarter, heel and staple Reebok branding.

The Reebok Shaq Attaq “MVP” is scheduled to release on November 3rd for a retail price of $180. In the meantime, the pair can be seen below in detailed imagery.

In other retro news, the Jordan 17 “Lightning” is returning next summer with a whopping $300 price tag.
