Michael Le For their latest take on the Air Force 1, Nike is bringing attention to what is arguably the sneaker’s most notable feature: its Swoosh.
There are countless versions of the Air Force 1 on offer at any given time, as the brand is especially prone to experimentation. Here, Nike has opted to oversize the silhouette’s check, throwing off its usual proportions. Materials, too, have been given a subtle overhaul: whereas the base is made up of the usual tumbled leathers, the tongue and overlays opt for a blue mesh and matching canvas, respectively.
