Nike Preps Another “Light Smoke Grey” Air Force 1 Low

Perfect for year-round wear.

Nike Preps Another “Light Smoke Grey” Air Force 1 Low

The Nike Air Force 1 Low continues to play an important part of the brand’s business, despite debuting 40 years ago.

As 2024 inches closer, Bruce Kilgore’s iconic silhouette has taken on handfuls of muted color schemes, leaving vibrant ensembles behind in summer. For its latest offering, the “presidential” sneaker has taken on shades of “Light Smoke Grey,” delivering its original “Metallic Silver” look in updated fashion. Base layers enjoy a leather build that falls in line with most Air Force 1 styles. Profile swooshes and Achilles’ Heel panels, however, deviate in both a darker shade and suede material that injects some personality into the muted pair. Branding on the tongue label and sockliners also indulge in the dark tone, but surrounding areas keep things light.

Underfoot, Kilgore’s made-for-basketball sole unit doesn’t detract from the upper. The “Air”-branded midsole favors an all-“White” finish that allows the top-half to revel in the spotlight. The grey Air Force 1, then, brings a semi-translucent, milky makeover to its radial traction. The design choice has appeared on other Nike Sportswear options over the years, with a recent notable one being the “Bronx Origins” AF1 from October 2022.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, as you wait for a nike.com release. The “Light Smoke Grey” style is priced at $135 USD.
