Jared Ebanks Since 2009, Nike has shone a spotlight on the country’s Native American communities through grants, scholarships, donations and intimate storytelling through products. For its latest installment, the Nike N7 banner crafts its own take on the court-ready Nike Cosmic Unity 3.
While this past summer’s SB Dunk Low efforts saw a bright white through-line, the sustainably-minded construction adheres to a contrasting pitch-dark palette. As such, the near-entirety of the upper is swatched in a singular jet-black treatment – save the cream-colored tongue tabs, sole unit and the teal-tinted swoosh. In typical fashion, the N7 banner extends a titular multi-color treatment across the mudguard’s knit overlay while the yellow, red and teal Pantone wheel concludes within the lateral heel’s N7 logo.
