As The NYC Marathon Nears, The Nike VaporFly 3 Gets Louder

In the recent Chicago Marathon, Nike stole the show with the AlphaFly 3, a next-generation shoe that just so happened to be on the feet of both the mens and womens winners of that race. With the New York City Marathon just a few days away, will we see a repeat performance or will the VaporFly 3 bask in the limelight?

Nike Running’s high-end offerings in the category have always wowed the crowds with style to go along with function. Whether or not they’re the best-performing shoes out there is always debatable, but there’s not much arguing the design. Nike has always brought the best its runners, and the VaporFly 3 proves exactly that with its most exciting colorway yet.

An upper completely covered in a high-visibility neon volt sits above a midsole that sees a rather aggressive gradient that fades from a tonal volt into an aqua teal to a dark navy. Hits of punchy orange appear inside the midsole indents, the oversized Swoosh on the sole, and the pinchers at the achilles.

A firm release date hasn’t been revealed, but enjoy this first look preview ahead and stay tuned for a drop on Nike.com and Nike Running retailers for $260.

In other running news, new images of the Nike AlphaFly 3 set to drop in January 2024 have been revealed.
