The Jordan Nu Retro 1 Puts Together Its Own “Shattered Backboard” Colorway

Among the Air Jordan 1’s most iconic colorways, the “Shattered Backboard” most certainly sits somewhere near the top. So it’s no surprise that the silhouettes beyond the brand’s core line-up — the Jordan Nu Retro 1, for example — often draw inspiration from the famous pair.

The Jordan Nu Retro 1 is no stranger to calling back to the Jumpman’s rich catalog of classics, recently crafting its own “Chicago” colorway. Now, it’s manifesting its obsession with the “Shattered Backboard,” proffering a similar shade of orange along its heel and sole. Black, then, dresses much of the shoe’s base, while white leathers wrap the toe box as well as the Wings-debossed panels along the profile.

Enjoy a closer look at the Jordan Nu Retro 1’s take on the above via the official images ahead. As for its release, it shouldn’t be long before we see these on the shelves of Nike.com and select retailers.
