Nike’s 80s-Inspired Full Force Low Reappears In “Sail/Burgundy”

The Nike Full Force Low harkens back to a simpler time in both sports and sneakers.

Reminiscent of typical basketball footwear from the 1980s, the silhouette features a sleek leather build across the upper. Suede panels around the collar deliver a fashion-forward touch for the modern age, while nodding to past decades. Furthermore, the sneaker enjoys a two-tone color scheme in line with professional league regulations of the 1980s (why do you think #23 was fined for wearing the Air Jordan 1?).

An off white, “Sail” finish covers the bulk of the Full Force Low’s top and bottom halves, further playing into the model’s vintage appeal. Profile swooshes, tongues, and Achilles’ Heel panels, however, interrupt in a compelling “Burgundy” hue that’s reminiscent of A Ma Maniére‘s collaborations with Brand Jordan. The wine-like color also takes over the court-informed outsole underfoot, rounding out the modern offering rooted in basketball heritage. Nike Force logos appear on the tongue and midsole.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, as you wait for firm nike.com launch details. The 80s-inspired sneaker is priced at a budget-friendly $95 USD.
