As the adidas Consortium Cup semi-finalists bring their custom adidas Sambas to life with intricate details and boastful color blockings, the German sportswear brand’s longest-running silhouette in production has maintained a healthy mix of inline efforts, such as the OG model’s recent slew of leather-accented pairs.
Bringing to life the model’s original leather build with a nubuck toe cap that initially graced the pitch, the latest cohort of colorways maintains a consistent “Off-White” tinted mudguard with crisp white buttery leather sidewalls. Meanwhile, a clad gum outsole brings a street-ready treatment underfoot to the football-synonymous model. Elsewhere, the profile 3-Stripes and both the tongue and heel tabs leather construction are doused in either “Halo Blue”, “Solar Red” or “Energy Ink”, sporting a colorful conclusion to a nostalgia-packed proposition.
The adidas Samba OG collection is currently available via the store list below for a retail price of $100. In the meantime, each colorway can be seen in detailed imagery ahead.
In other news, Deion Sander’s Air DT Max ’96 could return in 2024.
