Home Improvement: MSCHF’s Next Shoe Comes With A Dremel 4000 Power Tool

As if MSCHF’s Gobstomper wasn’t outrageous on its own, the shoe will soon arrive alongside a Dremel 4000 tool set.

Introduced to the masses with the help of Jimmy Fallon, the MSCHF Gobstomper features four layers across its upper and sole unit. Akin to Wonka’s Gobstopper candy, MSCHF’s wacky design reveals different colors underneath as the shoes endure wear and tear. Normal use of the shoes would require ages to unveil all of the silhouette’s hidden details, so other methods – including grinding with a Dremel tool – are used to customize pairs.

The MSCHF Dremel linkup arrives on November 28th. While seemingly-random, the partnership will be available before the holiday’s shopping sprees, allowing some customers to buy two gifts for the price of one. A quick Google search reveals listings for the Dremel 4000 kit priced at $80 USD. Previous versions of the Gobstomper retailed for $195 USD. The collaborative pair is priced higher than the sum of its parts, likely a result of licensing fees and increased cost in materials since the model’s introduction in Summer 2022. In any case, the co-branded sneaker arrives in a color palette directly inspired by Dremel and in a heavy-duty kit.

Enjoy detailed shots of the collaboration ahead. The MSCHF Dremel Gobstompers release via mschf.com and the MSCHF Sneakers App on November 28th at 2pm EST. The pair is priced at $350 USD.
