“Clear Sky” Accents Animate This Women’s adidas Response CL

Keep these on ice 'til next spring.

“Clear Sky” Accents Animate This Women’s adidas Response CL

Despite debuting decades ago, the adidas Response CL has been allowing countless consumers stay fresh over the last three years.

Collaborations with Puerto Rican megastar Bad Bunny have brought unprecedented attention to the 2000s runner, but a healthy roster of easily-available colorways have kept the shoe relevant well-beyond any co-sign from Benito. The design’s latest outfit combines “Cloud White,” “Clear Sky,” and “Preloved Blue” tone to create a compelling product for women. Although the shoe has been presented during the winter season its eye-catching makeover seems more fit for Spring 2024. And yet, maybe the shades of blue are meant to nod to the ice that comes along with the coldest time of year.

Breathable mesh bases opt for the more muted of the Response CL’s blue hues. Branding on the top of the tongue follows suit, but plastic 3-Stripes at the profiles deviate in a brighter shade of “Clear Sky.” Some shimmering “Metallic Silver” accents appear throughout the upper, delivering reflective functionality to the retro adidas Running model. The chunky sole unit underfoot provides both “Y2K” fashion and performance, offering the best of both worlds.

Enjoy official photos of the women’s pair ahead. No stateside adidas.com release details have been disclosed by the brand as of this writing, but the shoes are currently available at several Three Stripes outlets overseas. The Response CL is priced at $130 USD.
