This Nike Air Force 1 Reveals Its “True Colors When Exposed To UV”

As the Beaverton brand’s bread-and-butter lifestyle silhouette, the Nike Air Force 1 has undoubtedly entertained an extensive roster of timeless classics and innovative constructions. The latter has taken shape in more ways than one, now dressing the iconic Bruce Kilgore design with reflective UV panels.

Much like the silhouette’s 2021 appearance in the heat-changing textile, a crisp white hue dominates the smooth leather panels of the upper, albeit straying away from its counterpart’s tumbled leather texture. While the silhouette is overtly minimalist at first glance, color-changing details bring a baby-blue tint to the profile swooshes while a shade of wine red appears along the heel tab. Marionberry-tinted hangtags share the burnished finish of the heel tab before a sun-kissed semi-translucent outsole and iridescent lace dubraes complement the near “Triple-White” treatment.

The Nike Air Force 1 “UV” is expected to release next summer. While official release details haven’t been shared just yet, the pair can be seen below in detailed imagery in the meantime.

In other news, the Kith x Clarks x adidas Samba receives a festive makeover for Kithmas.
