From the adidas Consortium Cup to Ronnie Fieg’s highly sought-after hybrid collaboration with Kith and Clarks, the adidas Samba culminated an overtly successful year by taking home the FNAA 2023 Sneaker of the Year award. Before the 74-year-old silhouette enters into the new year, the German Sportswear behemoth is closing out 2023 with an eerily minimalist take on the iconic low-top trim that centers all attention on the beloved icon.
Mirroring the snow-capped mountains found throughout the winter season, the company’s longest-running model in production amplifies its thoroughly premium construction with a “Triple White” introduction. White-on-white smooth leather panels ensue from the quarter to the heel and inner lining while the suede mudguard is stamped with a refreshing light grey accent. Complemented by bright blue OG tongue tabs and gold foil “Samba” logos, the near-clad composition above is immediately contrasted through the pitch-dark “Gum” outsole underfoot.
The adidas Samba OG “Cloud White” is scheduled to release tomorrow, December 22nd at 3 am ET for a retail price of $100. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery ahead.
For more silhouettes approaching a release date, the Kobe 4 “Black Mamba” debuts on December 27th.
