Bugs Bunny Returns To Claim The Air Jordan 38

The Air Jordan 38 is ostensibly inspired by the Air Jordan 8. Releasing exactly 30 years apart with matching chenille tongue tabs and an X-Plate tooling that harkens to the midfoot straps of the AJ8, the latest lineage in Jordan Brand’s game show now extends a matching colorway from 1993.

Achieving its second color blocking from three decades ago – releasing in an “Aqua” assortment a few months ago – the “Bugs Bunny” Jordan 38 mirrors the greyscale color blocking of its OG predecessor. Much like the clad-leather circa ’93 silhouette, the Air Jordan 38’s embroidered upper is doused in a bright white tint while the forefoot’s cabling is drawn in a faint grey complement. Contrasted by jet-black tongues and inner linings, the fuzzy tongue tab renders the same collection of divided red, white and grey hues. Underfoot, the mid-foot shanks echo the same marbled detailing that ascertained the AJ8 with illuminated streaks of “University Red” while the midsole pairs off in a dark “Smoke Grey” finish.

Enjoy a first look at the Air Jordan 38 “Bugs Bunny” below while we await official release details and imagery.

In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Kobe 4 “Black Mamba” releases tomorrow, December 27th.
