Jordan Brand Continues The Women’s Satin Series With The Air Jordan 1 “Shadow”

Jordan Brand Continues The Women’s Satin Series With The Air Jordan 1 “Shadow”

Another original colorway of the Air Jordan 1 is getting reupholstered in a satin material.

A concept first introduced in 2016, the Air Jordan 1 “Satin” was originally inspired by the flight jackets worn by Michael Jordan on earlier print ads with Nike. Since the release of that highly-limited and individually numbered version, we’ve seen the silky material used on a bevy of women’s exclusives such as such as the “Black Toe”, “Shattered Backboard”, and most recently, the “Satin Bred”.

According to @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files, the series continues with the “Shadow” colorway from 1985; while a first look at the actual shoes hasn’t surfaced yet, we can surmise that the shoes will be very similar to 2023’s “Satin Bred” in terms of build and materials, only with Medium Grey taking place of red.

Currently, a release is set to go down during the final quarter of 2024, with an MSRP likely sticking at $180.
