Skechers Basketball Rings In The New Year With New Float And Resagrip Colorways

Skechers has navigated the basketball shoe market largely as a silent partner, quietly supporting Brandblack and later the short-lived Big Baller Brand (remember that?). Now, they’re putting the S out in the forefront with in-house footwear models and an impressive roster of NBA athletes that includes New York Knicks forward Julius Randle and Clippers guard Terrance Mann.

The two pillars of the brand’s sublabel are the SKX Resagrip and the SKX Float. The former is built for quick guards, whereas the latter is tailored for general stability for the do-it-all type of player. Both utilize Goodyear® rubber outsoles for that proven stickiness, while in-house innovations such as Hyper Burst Pro™ sockliners provide cushioning and response.

Offered in both Low and Mid cuts, the Skechers SKX Resagrip and Float have been refreshed for the new year with a batch of exciting, high-vis colorways. There’s no shyness involved with this Spring 2024 line-up, as ample hits of bright neons, blazing hot oranges, and pastel purples cover all the corners of both models.

The SKX Float stands out for the chiseled midsole design, with openings that reveal in interior Hyper Burst cushioning and bootie. Specific to this model is a strategically placed mid-foot TPU that assists in lock-down and stability.

The SKX Resagrip has a more streamlined, aerodynamic look which speaks to the fast-moving, multi-directional intent of the shoes. Four new colorways are available now.

The entire Skechers Basketball collection is available now here.
