Take A Ride In The adidas Forum Mid “Carnival.”

The adidas Forum has dressed in countless makeups since its 1984 debut, having been worn by Michael Jordan in his college days, re-imagined by Jeremy Scott in the 2010s, and called upon for current-day collaborations with Beyonce and Bad Bunny.

Now, adidas calls on its S.E.E.D. collective (School for Experiential Education in Design) to produce a Forum Mid that’s undeniably unique. The shoe adopts a “Carnival” theme, made in collaboration with world renowned Caribbean designer Anya Ayoung-Chee for the Caribana Toronto festival happening in early August.

The overlays on this pair are constructed from snakeskin-textured gold leather, making its way across the entire shoe and onto the heel and lace closure strap. More gold appears in mesh material on the toe and quarter panel, just wide enough to make the abstract multicolored pattern on the base visible. Underneath, a marbled teal/purple heel unit adds even more flair, sitting atop a glittery gum outsole to complete the loud design.

Enjoy official images of the “Carnival” adidas Forum below, releasing February 1st for an MSRP of $160.

In other news, a Packer x adidas Forum Low just recently surfaced in white/brown coloring.
