Nike Taps The New Air Max 90 LV8 For Valentine’s Day

A holiday-themed look for the upcoming hybrid model.

Nike Taps The New Air Max 90 LV8 For Valentine’s Day

Nike continues pointing its arrow towards new and old models in celebration of Valentine’s Day next month, this time tapping the upcoming womens-exclusive Air Max 90 LV8.

While we’ve seen images of a handful of Air Max 90 LV8 iterations in recent weeks, the Beaverton brand has yet to grace us with an official release. That changes soon, with Nike set to debut the hybrid silhouette as part of a larger collection of Valentine’s Day shoes on February 2nd.

The Air Max 90 LV8 is defined by its double-stacked air bubbles and oversized midsole, producing a unique take on the model alongside other hybrid shoes like the Air Max 90 Futura, which also boasts a Valentine’s Day pair.

The sneaker’s upper stays relatively consistent with Tinker Hatfields’s OG design, with special holiday-themed treatments dispersed throughout. The lower eyelet appears in pink, matching the shade of the backtab and heel window, while the Swoosh presents itself in deep red colored suede. More Valentine’s Day cues appear on lace dubrae and heel logo, both crafted in the shape of hearts, along with cherry-themed Nike branding on the tongue that matches the look of a V-Day Air Force 1 from last year.

Enjoy official images below and mark your calendars for this release on February 2nd for $160. Also keep a close eye on our Sneaker Release Dates page as we continue to unpack upcoming Valentine’s Day kicks.
