Andrew Rizzo March Madness is coming up, meaning sneaker and basketball fans should be on the lookout for school-themed releases as Nike tends to celebrate the college playoffs with seasonal drops. The “Be True To Your School” collection has remained a consistent touchpoint for the Beaverton brand for ages, still relevant today after resurging a few years ago along with the Nike Dunk itself.
This time around, Nike taps St. John’s with the release of a “Championship Red” Dunk High in grade school sizing. We recently saw another St. John’s Dunk High surface with slightly different coloring and a gum sole, albeit very much aligned with BTTYS releases. Nike takes the colorway back to its OG form on this pair, complete with a white base and vibrant red overlays.
