All has not been quiet on the Milwaukee Bucks front. The surprising firing of Adrian Griffin from the head coaching position to the even-more-surprising hiring of Doc Rivers to the command post has shaken up the Eastern Conference to some degree. The addition of Rivers, who was dismissed from the Philadelphia Sixers at the end of last season, could be the X-factor in bringing the Bucks back to the Finals, or the curse of Doc may doom the star-studded team that won the ‘chip just three seasons ago.
While we await the Doc Rivers era of the Central Division team, Giannis is getting ready for his eighth consecutive All-Star Game appearance with a fresh new take on his Nike Zoom Freak 5. It carries the same All-Star 2024 logo crafted by Nike — a Swoosh shooting through an ellipse — while establishing the same prismatic sheen. These two details seem to be unifying theme for the Nike All-Star 2024 sneaker line-up.
This Freak 5 isn’t much different from other in-line releases, at least structurally. It does sport a new logo on the tongue, which intertwines the aforementioned ASW graphics with Giannis’ personal Nike logo. Additionally, his insignia appears on the heel of the shoe for the first time.
The Greek Freak’s All-Star shoes for 2024 are officially releasing on February 16th, 2024 in adult and GS (pictured) sizes.
