The adidas MAD IIINFINITY Is Set For An All-Star Weekend 2024 Debut

With eyes towards continuing the legacy of Kobe Bryant line into the future, adidas has unveiled their newest basketball model, the MAD IIINFINITY.

This time last year, the Three Stripes gave us our first look at the CRAZY IIINFINITY, a sneaker steeped in the history between adidas and the Mamba. Amid a slew of photos of their upcoming offerings, a similar but not quite the same silhouette was also included. As All Star Weekend 2024 nears tip-off, official photos have emerged of the MAD IIINFINITY, the next step for both the Crazy line and adidas Basketball as a whole.

Easily identifiable in the MAD IIINFINITY’s structure is the maximalist side panels, cohesive with the now-iconic chunky look courtesy of the adidas MAD Handle. Furthermore, the sole is ported over from the adidas KOBE TWO.

Though the stated influences of the line no doubt stand out the most, it surely won’t be the end of the comparisons to Adidas’ past endeavors. Especially when seen in this midnight look, there’s a distinct Y-3 influence, particularly in the split sole. In its debut colorway, the MAD IIINFINITY plays it cool, an arrangement entirely in black, save for the “Lucid Blue” at the top & back of the shoe.

Releasing just a few days before All-Star proper begins, the MAD IIINFINITY will launch via the adidas website on February 15th for $180. Scroll down for a full look at the newest addition to adidas Basketball.
