Oregon Ducks Green Suede Hits the Nike SB React Leo

Taking its cues from the Nike HQ homefront, the shoe will be available in a full size run.

Oregon Ducks Green Suede Hits the Nike SB React Leo

The Nike SB React Leo is more and more becoming part of the mainline Nike family, now nearing double digit releases since its entrance in the middle of last year. In its newest edition, green suede add a ton of pop in one of the most vibrant colorways seen on the silhouette yet.

Though of course the specific needs and tendencies of Leo Baker himself shaped the shoe, they can also be taken a composite of Nike SB history. The vulcanized rubber soles on every one of these harken towards to the beginnings of the line with the Zoom Janoski. Consistent with that model, each React Leo has offered dual appeal as a street-ready lifestyle sneaker and as performance skate gear.

The former category no doubt informs the laid-back palettes we’ve seen on the shoe, like “Sail” and its debut “Cacao Wow.” Crucially, that means the green suede that takes up this release stands as one of the brighter shades it’s come in. The traditional white and black detailing here keep the shoe on ground-level, however, with that nocturnal choice making the enmeshed “Leo” branding on the side panel more subtle than ever.

At a price point of $95, you can expect the “Green/Gum” Nike SB React Leo to hit shelves in the near future.

Elsewhere in SBs, the Nike SB Force 50 “Reverse Mocha” reached into Travis Scott territory for its latest drop.
