More New Balance 991v2 colorways are en route, the model now surfacing with a monotone golden yellow upper. The Boston brand appears to be giving the updated 991 cut a push to start off the new year, the v2 silhouette having debuted just last October via a Stone Island collaboration. An upcoming project with Danielle Cathari on the New Balance 991v2 Matcha has helped add to the buzz around the new model, continued on through well-executed GRs like the aforementioned yellow pair.
Buttery yellow suede overlays drape the upper of this iteration, matching the color of the mesh base and forefoot nubuck paneling. Familiar treatments appear on the rest of the shoe, the New Balance N logo adorned in silver along with the laces and lining while the sole unit adopts a standard white/black/grey look. In this colorway, the model offers an aesthetic somewhat similar to the Coco 991v2 that recently made its way onto shelves, albeit with a brighter palette and different material composition.
