The chunky shoe trend is alive and well, a claim made evident by the arrival of several new Nike lifestyle models but none more discernible than the Nike Air Max 90 LV8. While sneakerheads go back and forth debating the viability of the often controversial aesthetic, Nike blazes on with a new LV8 iteration in brown/tan coloring.
This latest installment captures two trends in one; oversized builds and contemporary palettes. Similarly colored Cacao Wow Nike Dunks have been tough to keep on shelves, offering another example of Nike’s solid understanding of market preferences. Brown coloring takes to the mudguard and upper eyestay on this pair, matched underneath with a gum sole. The rest of the shoe keeps things relatively quiet with white and tan coloring, the latter shade appearing on the midsole wedge and heel branding to complete the design.
