“Court Blue” Drapes The Nike Air Max 97

Now faced with stiff competition from the Air Max Plus in the arena of Nike’s more pricey Air Max offerings, the Christian Tresser’s Air Max 97 appears to have taken a bit of a back seat to start off the Spring 2024 season. However, the new Meg Thee Stallion Air Max 97 “Hot Girl Systems” initiative as well as steady inline drops serve to keep the shoe’s mainstay status alive and well.

Playful shades of blue take over the Beaverton brand’s next design, officially dubbed with a “Court Blue/Glacier Blue/Pure Platinum” title. The silhouette’s iconic wavy overlays transform from platinum to dark grey from the top down, bordered by a blue mudguard and mesh base, while rope laces present in a white/blue pattern. Underfoot, a subtle platinum tint distinguishes the shoe’s full-length air unit, complete with a white midsole and black tread to round out the design.
