Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE1 “MX Charcoal” Releases On July 20th

If you happened to catch Anthony Edwards in action this All-Star Weekend, you would’ve witnessed the rising superstar shoot his shots exclusively with his off-hand. Going full lefty for Sunday night’s festivities, Edwards managed to steal some of the show, although the talk of the sneaker town was surely the AE1 “All-Star” that was on his feet.

With the growing interest around Anthony Edwards’ shoes, adidas has a great opportunity to capture the audience with some astounding colorways like this upcoming “MX Charcoal” take that applies a multi-colored execution to the exterior shell. This muddy mix of blacks and greys, reminiscent of Kanye West’s work (we’re not talking about the Yeezy Pods) has caught our eyes for sure. The base bootie stays the standard black, which has us wondering if adidas has any plans of adding a different shade to the mix.

According to Finish Line, a release date is expected on July 20th, 2024.
