This Nike Air Max 1 “Hot Sauce” Is Too Spicy

A red-hot take on the Air Max 1 is coming soon.

This Nike Air Max 1 “Hot Sauce” Is Too Spicy

Things are heating up for Air Max Day 2024 as several confirmed releases (the Air Max Dn) and other surrounding drops are bring the energy for Nike’s annual celebration of Air. Joining the fray is an all-new Air Max 1 with some spice in mind as it features a hot new logo on the heel and insoles, but be careful: it’s spicy.

Seen here via official images, this Nike Air Max 1 is presented in a metallic silver foil mudguard above a white base and a neutral grey quarter and heel. Seems somewhat standard at first and immediate glance, but look closely and you’ll see speckles of black on the fitting Chile Red-treated Swoosh logo. The heel reveals a spicy take on the Nike branding as the letter i is replaced with a chili pepper in flames, while the insole reads a complementary tagline of “it’s in the sauce”.

While the inspiration behind this Air Max 1 is not entirely clear, this “hot release” should be among the top picks during Air Max Month or in the early Summer 2024 season. For now, see the official images ahead and we’ll provide updates as they arrive.
