The Joker Takes Over The Nike Dunk Low

Purple and green coloring produces a villain-worthy look.

The Joker Takes Over The Nike Dunk Low

The Joker makes a habit out of popping up in unexpected places, now gracing the design of an upcoming Nike Dunk Low.

While there hasn’t been an official DC x Nike Dunk collaboration to date, previous purple/green colorways have closely matched the look of the supervillain seen across the franchise’s comic and cinematic works. An unreleased Joker Nike SB Dunk sample from 2009 remains top of mind in diehard sneaker circles, along with various inline drops and sneaker customizer inventions.

This latest delivery offers maybe the most fitting (yet still unofficial) “Joker” Nike Dunk to date, complete with a purple canvas base and green Nike Swoosh. White suede overlays serve to align with the character’s clown makeup, while multi-colored laces add to the shoe’s eccentric feel. A tan midsole completes the look underfoot, resting above a purple outsole in tandem with the palette above.

While no release date has been set at the time of this writing, expect pairs to hit shelves soon as Nike continues to build up its Spring 2024 selection. In the meantime, enjoy official images below and return to our Sneaker Release Dates page for more.
