“Bubblegum Pink” Pops On The New Balance 2002R

Pastel-like hues prep the silhouette for spring.

“Bubblegum Pink” Pops On The New Balance 2002R

Whether it’s because of quality materials, thoughtful design practices, or some fusion of the two, pink colorways just seem to work for New Balance. Now that we’re past the Valentine’s Day timeframe, a stretch that saw the release of the pink-ish Joe Freshgoods 992 in 2020, eyes are now set on spring and its upcoming holidays. Fitting the design motifs of the season to come, New Balance now dresses the men’s 2002R in a pastel, bubblegum-esque outfit.

Soft pink coloring takes over the upper of this pair, draping the shoe’s mesh base and wavy suede overlays in subtle yet statement-worthy color. Grey tones define the rest of the build, introduced on the tongue and mudguard before making regularly scheduled appearances via the model’s the reflective heel and New Balance logo. Underfoot, the design goes about business as usual with an all-white midsole and black tread to polish off the look.

European retailers have already begin listing the Boston brand delivery, but no word has been mentioned regarding a global drop at the time of this writing. In the meantime, enjoy detailed images below and see our Sneaker Release Dates page for more.
