The UNION x Clarks Wallabee Is All About New York City

Two colorways come packed with significance.

The UNION x Clarks Wallabee Is All About New York City

The Clarks Wallabee is a New York City staple, a distinction that has earned countless collaborations with local institutions from Supreme to the Wu-Tang Clan. Now joining in on the fun is UNION, a match made in heaven considering the brand’s NYC origins and the Wallebee’s icon status in local hip-hop circles.

The title of this “Crazy Visions” delivery references lyrics from Raekwon and Ghostface Killa’s “Glaciers of Ice” track, the latter Wu-Tang member recognized as a catalyst behind the Wallebee’s rise to prominence in NYC. In staying true to its heritage, UNION delivers a fusion of classic elements but with modern, fashion-forward tweaks packed with cultural significance.

Two pairs make up the delivery; a “Cameo Rose” colorway that pays tribute to the pink wardrobe of Harlem icon Cam’ron, and a “Covert Green” look that leans into UNION’s West Indian ancestry. Both shoes are defined by their 80s runner-inspired uppers, which see a liberal use of mesh for breathability and comfort. Traditional suede material encompasses the rest of each pair, while the inclusion of Wallabee Hike sole units add stability through a leather welt. As is tradition, both shoes come with a variety of co-branded hangtags that look equally good on or off, whichever preferred.

Both pairs are available now at store.unionlosangeles.com for $230 in unisex sizing. See detailed campaign imagery below for a closer look.
