Fans of retro Nike runners will have it good in 2024. Last year’s SNKRS Preview announced the return of the Nike Air Pegasus 2K5, a long-archived model that’s primed for a comeback given the sneaker market’s growing favorability towards Y2K-era builds. So far we’ve seen the release of a clean black/white pair and a “Fierce Pink” colorway, now joined by a lively “Coconut Milk” mix for Summer 2024.
While we’ve yet to see any of the previewed colorways from last year surface just yet, news of this upcoming delivery suggests the 2K5 might be given a more consistent release schedule in the near future, perhaps after Air Max Day later this month. First images of the pair in question boast a spring-ready mix of “Coconut Milk” cream and “Bicoastal” teal coloring, echoing a vibrant “Aqua” aesthetic drawn from popular design cues of the mid 2000s.
Both colors receive equal attention throughout, with teal forefoot hits giving way to an abstract cream cage at the quarter. The base layer features cream mesh against a teal background for subtle contrast, while sparse brown hits provide differentiation on the toe and heel cutouts to round out the palette.
Enjoy official retailer images below and return to our Sneaker Release Dates page as we provide updates ahead of the shoe’s Summer 2024 drop. If you’re looking for a more immediate Nike rotation refresh, check out the brand’s upcoming Air Max Dn offerings set for launch on March 26th.
