New Balance 990v4 Made In USA “Macadamia Nut” Drops On March 28th

Teddy Santis’ appointment to creative director of the New Balance Made In USA program has certainly injected new life, and new hype, into each successive lookbook. First tipped off in the NBMade In USA SS24 preview, the New Balance 990v4 “Macadamia Nut” is getting its release just under two months later.

Though the Made in USA has championed premium lifestyle wear, there’s no denying the outdoorsman influence on this colorway. While the beige and black color scheme between the midsole and upper initially reads as rather understated, the colorful accents elsewhere reveal that influence. Most prominent is the pine green hiking laces, mirrored on the medial “N” logo and a cut out panel in the rear. Slight teal highlights also convey extra vibrancy, underlying several of those pine green panels. Closing the design out with minor 3M sections towards the forefoot and the very rear, this colorway find a great blend between earthy overtones and lively detailing.

The New Balance 990v4 Made in USA “Macadamia Nut” releases March 28th at 10AM via NewBalance.com, retailing for $210. You can find direct links for drop day ahead, as well as official images just below.
