Shaedon Sharpe’s sophomore campaign was interrupted by a core injury in February, but the Trail Blazers guard put on an impressive showing in the first half of the NBA season, carving a place among the league’s next wave of stars.
Having worn plenty of Nike Basketball gear with the Kentucky Wildcats, the Beaverton brand signed Sharpe to an endorsement deal at the start of his rookie season. Now, Nike graces its up-and-coming guard with his very own Zoom GT Jump 2, featuring distinctive ties to the athlete’s home and personal motto.
The shoes wear a Blazers mix of red and black, but also ode to Sharpe’s home country of Canada with a maple leaf featuring “SHAE” text stitched on the tongue. Gold accents make for a player edition-worthy design on the Swoosh and Sharpe’s “17” number on the heel of both shoes, and the inner tongue reads “Imma Catch Whoever In The Way!” in a warning to the rest of the league.
No release date has been set at the time of this writing, but it’s possible pairs could touch down within the next few months as the NBA season comes to a close. In any case, enjoy detailed images below and return to our Sneaker Release Dates page for all the latest updates.
