The defensive specialist has yet another highlight courtesy of his latest footwork – a Nike Book 1 “Chapter 0” PE that he sported during the Clippers/Nuggets showdown on April 4th.
Featuring a team-friendly all-red upper with a white swoosh, white midsole, and gum sole, these Book 1 PEs appear to be somewhat lacking compared to all the incredible Player Exclusives worn by Devin Booker throughout the season. But look closely, and the heel states “Chapter 0” opposed to Chapter One seen on the standard pairs of the Book 1s.
Tucker was actually Booker’s teammate at one point during the signature athlete’s rookie year in Phoenix. They later faced off in the NBA Finals in 2021, although it’s clear that their strong friendship continues. Perhaps there’s a deeper meaning behind the “Chapter 0” messaging, but all we need to know is that only PJ got these.
