Updated May 7th, 2024: New images of the Nike KD 17 “Bink!” have emerged. One of three drops in the upcoming Nike KD 17 “Producer Pack,” this earthy, tonal treatment is expected to release alongside the KD 17 “Metro Boomin” and KD 17 “Alchemist” on June 14th, each obviously paying homage to iconic hip-hop architects. These new images confirm the enhanced details that mark this release, with Bink!’s signature and various personal iconography appearing throughout the shoe. Additionally, some material changes drive home the “special edition” nature of this drop; luxe side panelling and a corduroy collar chief among them. Take a look for yourself via Size? images below.

Original article posted April 8th, 2024: Kevin Durant’s love for hip-hop fueled a Nike KD 15 “Producer Pack” that highlighted Boi-1da, Cardo and 9th Wonder back in 2022, and now the KD 17 appears set to pick up where that delivery left off. The Easy Money Sniper’s next producer-inspired sneaker shows love to Bink!, best known for his work with Roc-A-Fella Records and particularly Jay-Z on The Blueprint.

The design features an earthy mix of brown, tan, and orange treatments, with Bink!’s signature presented in white on brown stitch under the Swoosh. Another fitting callback appears on the heel with a stitched design made to look like “Bink!” with hands, complete underfoot with collegiate “HUMBLE” text visible through an semi-opaque gum outsole.
