When compared to their last in-line run in 2015, this latest run for the Saucony Courageous seemingly frontlines a different design philosophy. Rather than plush suede, this pair retrofits the silhouette to instead lean towards tech runner trends, with the aged midsole a clear indication of that. Additionally, metallic adjacent shades run all over this profile, from the light grey leather at the quarter to the darker counterpart that peeks out towards the toe-cap. Taken alongside the black mesh and the embrace of blue seen on the medial branding, the retro principles this shoe shows off construction-wise are emphasized by their new palette.
