From the school of Flyknit shoes with bulky soles a la Air Max Scorpion comes the Nike Flyknit Bloom, already released in several colorways and set to adopt a more consistent release schedule in Summer 2024. The Bloom represents one of three new inventive Flyknit shoes taking to market in 2024, joined by the Flyknit Haven Moccasin and high-top Flyknit Venture, with the Bloom sitting pretty in the middle when it comes to height.

Official retailer images showcase a new “Light Bone/Sail/Phantom” colorway set to touch down this summer, a stray from the first few Bloom designs that wore darker fabrics up top. “Phantom” green Flyknit hugs the foot at the base, while a separate “Light Bone” Flynit structure encompasses both the lateral and medial sides, paving a clear path for the forefoot and laces. As if the shoes weren’t unique enough already, wrap-around lace styling is made possible by a set of loops towards the heel on that piece. Underfoot, the Bloom’s chunky yet chiseled midsole is decorated with soft “Sail” and brown tread pads down below, abiding by the non-imposing palette of the upper.
