While Jordan Brand takes plenty of stabs at twisting the Air Jordan 1 recipe, one they’ve managed to strike oil with is the Air Jordan 1 “Method of Make.” Bringing exaggerated exposed stitching and tonal treatments to the classic silhouette, the women’s offshoot model is back once again in luxury fashion, tackling a “Black/Gold” proposition for its latest.

As mentioned, Air Jordan 1 Low Method of Make releases have all stayed in a monochromatic lane, so far taking on all-pink, all-beige and all-green. It makes this nocturnal edition expected in its layout but a standout in its palette, presenting a much darker version of the silhouette than we’ve seen before. As with those previous drops, pronounced gold tags replace traditional flush branding, made the real eye-catchers on this colorway just out of sheer contrast. One of the most reliable color choices in the fashion world, this combo has draped designer bags out of every major house from Louis Vuitton to Celine to YSL. It presents this pair as a perfect match for those luxury accessories while still maintaining the indomitable street style of the AJ1.
