The ASICS GEL-NYC Tackles Sunlit “Linen”

The lifestyle model goes airy for Summer '24.

The ASICS GEL-NYC Tackles Sunlit “Linen”

Given that the ASICS backlog is rife with metallic takes on their various tech runner styles, the ASICS GEL-NYC is a standout on two fronts, both for its widely celebrated construction and for the vibrant colorways that it continues putting forth. With the kickoff of Summer ’24 fast approaching, the ASICS GEL-NYC model is suiting up for the occasion, taking on luxe “Linen” tones.

It’s not quite “Triple White”, but this edition comes damn close, a comprehensively sunny palette enveloping the whole shoe. If you squint, you’ll be able to make out that rather than one monochrome shade, multiple adjacent hues make up this brightened profile. Light blue paints the interior of the medial ASICS logo, providing the biggest contrast, but ecru suede overlays, an off-white midsole and a splash of dark grey at the heel add a ton of depth within the bounds of this all-white colorway.

The ASICS GEL-NYC “Linen” is expected to release in the near future, likely carrying the typical $130 price point. Given how these images emerged, expect a launch through JD Sports & Finish Line along a wide ASICS.com drop. You can catch the full gallery of those photos just below.

Along these same color lines, check out our latest on the Air Jordan 1 “Latte,” launching at the end of the month.
