Nikola Jokić And SpongeBob Team Up On His 361° Signature Shoe

Nikola Jokic is a name that may not come up often in the sneaker newswire, but a recent partnership with Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob Squarepants has people buzzing about the three-time NBA MVP’s signature shoe. The Jokic Spongebob Shoes are available now; read below for full details.

Signed with Chinese brand 361° back in December of last year, Jokic now sports a signature shoe called the 361° BIG3 Future, a model that hasn’t really appealed to the sneaker community at large until now. As part of this collaboration with SpongeBob Squarepants, 361° delivers four distinct colorways, each modeled after a distinct character of the cartoon franchise – SpongeBob, Patrick Star, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs. Each pair is available online right now for $199 directly from the 361° website.

Nikola Jokic is arguably one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA, amassing three MVP awards, an NBA Championship, and an NBA Finals MVP award before turning the age of 30. Prior to signing with 361° in late 2023, Jokic was a Nike athlete, actively wearing the Zoom GT Jump 2 and even the Hyperdunk 2011.

This is hardly SpongeBob’s first foray into hoops; back in 2019, Kyrie Irving and Nike collaborated with the silly cartoon for a five-pair collection that also included the aforementioned character and Sandy (pictured below). Why she was left out of Jokic’s collection remains a mystery.
