The Jordan MVP 678 Does Its Best “Raging Bull” Impression

An iconic colorway meets an under-the-rader silhouette.

The Jordan MVP 678 Does Its Best “Raging Bull” Impression

The narrative surrounding hybrid sneakers might never change, but it won’t be due to a lack of trying on Jordan Brand’s part. The first half of 2024 has seen the introduction of the Jordan Spiz’ike Low and Jordan 2/3, all while a hybrid mainstay in the Jordan MVP 678 keeps surfacing in new looks.

In lockstep with several MVP 678 drops in recent memory, this latest pair borrows a well-established colorway from the numbered Air Jordan archives. It’s not one known by the Jordan 6, Jordan 7, or Jordan 8, the models that inform the MVP 678’s build, but the Air Jordan 5 “Raging Bull” (aka “Toro Bravo”) that most recently dropped back in 2021. The upper comes drenched in red nubuck and suede, while the tongue and mudguard complete the remainder of a “Chicago Bulls” palette in black. Another “Raging Bull” callback presents via a blue-tinted gum outsole, while “Nike Air” takes over for Jumpman branding on heel.

The Jordan MVP 678 “Raging Bull” is expected to hit retailers soon for $165; enjoy official images below and tap our Jordan Release Dates 2024 page for a full preview of upcoming Jumpman deliveries.
