Cartoons x Crocs continues to be an ultra-reliable formula (formuoli?) for the Colorado company. Naruto Crocs have stolen the show in the first half of 2024, but characters hailing from Sesame Street and galaxies far, far away ensure everyone’s on-screen favorites get their time to shine. Bikini Bottom is up next on the docket with the upcoming SpongeBob Squarepants x Crocs collection, spanning four shoes total.

Rather than dedicating to the Nickelodeon series in abstract fashion, the two Classic Clogs here seek to replicate Spongebob and Patrick one-to-one. The uppers are largely monochromatic in pink and yellow, while the sole units mirror their in-universe garments, representing Mr. Squarepants’ brown khaki shorts and Mr. Star’s tropical swim trunks. Bob’s pair ends up being the truest homage, with his arms and tie literally sitting atop the shoe as its design rounds out. To even the attention on Patrick’s pair, he gets a full range of Jibbitz charms evoking fan-favorite moments: an action figure of the sea star, his rock home, a jar of mayo and a bottle of sunscreen.

In the other half of this pack, the Off Court Clog and Cozzzy Terry Sandal present comparatively more general allusions to the cartoon world. The black and blue Clog style paints two separate graphic prints, landing with a full set of character charms of the main cast. Similarly, the sandal blends aqua terry interiors with a khaki exterior, its own Jibbitz set giving wearers the ability to add flair to its low-key profile.
