The ANTA KAI 1 “Playoffs Energy” Drops Just Before The NBA Finals

Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks are NBA Finals-bound, and just ahead of game one against the Boston Celtics, the ANTA KAI 1 is set to release in a special “Playoffs Energy” colorway.

Just like every ANTA KAI 1 thus far, the shoe comes jam-packed with details that speak to the athlete’s Native American roots. The palette consists of a vibrant assortment of yellow and aquatic colors, the former appearing most prominently at the base. Two different glossy shades of teal and light green balance each other out on the midsole, differentiated further by a white heel portion and gum outsole down below. All Kyrie Irving shoes come with a story, and while we’ve yet to hear detailed info regarding the inspiration behind this pair, it could ode to the veteran’s habits and rituals throughout the postseason.

The ANTA KAI 1 “Playoffs Energy” releases June 5th, one day before the NBA Finals tips off. Participants who sign up for the release on anta.com by June 5th, 8 AM EST will receive a link for a chance to purchase the shoes.
