adidas Harden Vol 8 “After Hours” Releases On July 1st

After a first round exit against the NBA Finalist Dallas Mavericks, the next steps for the LA Clippers and James Harden are uncertain. Off-the-court, however, The Beard is making a comeback, his adidas Harden Vol. 8 returning on July 1st with the “After Hours” colorway.

Though a greyscale look for the Harden Vol. 8 isn’t out of the ordinary, set up with the “White Party” version, a few of the principles displayed here chart new territory for the Beard’s signature. Most apparent is the patent leather toe-box, reflective and eye-catching in thematic nightlife fashion. Additionally, this is a novel color-blocking scheme, departing from the two-tone layout that spotlighted the EVA cage for a full separation of the forefoot, both above and below. A final touch of color comes on the outsole, a swatch of royal blue paints the centered herringbone traction pattern.

Debuted in the Clippers’ first round series, this “After Hours” edition of the Harden Vol. 8 could be signalling a return to the regular releases that stretched from the model’s February debut to the start of May. If that’s the case, “Slime Green,” “Harden Wines” and “Purple Burst” pairs are likely candidates to follow this one up, each teased on-court in similar fashion.

The adidas Harden Vol. 8 “After Hours” launches on adidas.com July 1st, retailing for $160.

Sticking with the Three Stripes, the torrent of Yeezy Day 2024 drops continues, with favorites like the Yeezy 350 “Zebra” making a comeback.
