“Pink Foam” Soles Mark A Space Age Nike Dunk Low LX

Though the centrality of shoes like the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 4 make it a tough debate, arguably no model does storytelling better than the Nike Dunk Low. With eccentric, rich themes synonymous with some of the Dunk’s most famous looks, it’s no surprise to see another one emerge- an upcoming Nike Dunk Low LX joins the just-unveiled Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Pink Foam.”

While the metallic notes that marked the Vomero 5 are about par for the course for the Y2K runner, here we can safely say it’s a more deliberate choice. Three different applications of silver leather hit up top; matte on the underlays, a dusty finish on the overlays and mirror-like reflectivity on the Swoosh. The monotone upper creates even more of a stark contrast with the sole on these Pink Dunks, and creates a sort of astronaut-like atmosphere when looking at the full profile.
