Parra And Vans Collaborate On A Half Cab For Go Skateboarding Day 2024

French flag colors hit an all-suede upper.

Parra And Vans Collaborate On A Half Cab For Go Skateboarding Day 2024

Paris is the epicenter for all things sneakers in 2024. On top of several upcoming collections crafted in honor of the 2024 Olympics and a huge Nike event in April, Parra is linking up with Vans on a special Half Cab with ties to the French capital.

The delivery isn’t inspired to the Olympics as one might expect, but odes to two important celebrations taking place on June 21st; World Skateboarding Day and World Music Day (or Fête de la musique, among locals). If you’ve been following Parra’s collaborations with Nike in recent years, the design should definitely strike a familiar note. Taken in red, white, and blue French flag colors, the European label re-imagines the Half Cab upper with wavy edges. In-hand shots posted by @mvncnt also reveal a bird graphic on the tongue and lateral branding, and not for nothing; a special edition box with abstract Vans typography and squiggly lines.

Parra and Vans haven’t confirmed release info yet, but given the shoe’s tie to June 21st, that should change sooner rather than later. Periodically revisit this page for all the latest updates while we keep current with emerging details.
