“University Red” Hits The Nike Air Force 1 Low Next Nature

As sustainability goals continue to factor into the Swoosh’s plans, their most iconic models are front-and-center in regards to the initiative. The Air Force 1 is back in “Next Nature” configuration, serving up a familiar blend of black, white & “University Red.”

As is common with staple shoes like this, Dunks or Air Jordan 1s, there’s a number of minor changes to bring new life to the model. Synthetic jersey material marks the tongue and midfoot Swoosh, white embroidery outlines the latter, and an “AF-1” hangs from it. Grind rubber, likely the largest reason for this being a “Next Nature” release, makes its presence known visually with the speckled mid & outsole. Finally, the tongue tag reorients from a two-tone look to a three-tone one, representing all three of the Chicago-adjacent shades that play a central role here.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Next Nature “University Red” is set to arrive in the coming weeks; expect a $115 retail price upon arrival. Enjoy official images via the gallery below, and if this pair caught your eye, stay locked in to our Sneaker Release Dates to get notified when this pair does drop.
